Overview
The Waitt Family Foundation is a major funder of Community Digital Storytelling - a movement that brings story-making technology to practitioners and residents in communities that wish to tap the potential of story for surfacing local knowledge, connecting experiences across diverse individuals, and moving those individuals to collective action.
Approach
In partnership with MIT and Third World Majority, Invent Media is developing StoryLink, an interactive and community-based initiative for creating andsharing digital stories. In addition to our current work on the StoryLink software and Web site, we were key participants in developing the project's funding proposal.
