Museum: Invention at Play

Overview
Invention at Play is a 3,500 square foot traveling exhibition
produced by the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of
American History. The exhibit explores the relationship of play to
invention and the inventive process through a highly hands-on,
interactive experience.

Approach
Working with the Smithsonian, Invent Media scripted, shot, and
edited an 8-minute video installation that gives people a peek at
the future of computer-embedded playthings and their relationship
to play, child development, and creativity by profiling the
inventors and inventions at the MIT Media Lab’s Lifelong
Kindergarten Group.
